We are a community united by a vision to change how girls and women are supported through life's great transitions by restoring rites of passage, reconnecting women with the wisdom of their bodies, and rebuilding the village around them.

Honouring the thresholds that shape us.

There was a time when life's great transitions were not crossed alone.

Girls learned from women who had walked before them. Birth, motherhood, loss, menopause and death were held within community. Wisdom moved between generations, and the thresholds that changed us were witnessed, honoured and given meaning.

Somewhere along the way, much of this was lost.

Today, many girls and women move through these transitions without the knowledge, community or rites of passage that once helped us understand who we were becoming.

The Red Tent Australia exists to help bring that village back.

Through Every Season of Womanhood

Women have never been linear beings. We are cyclical; our bodies and lives move through seasons of creation, transformation, release and renewal.

Just as the Earth moves through her seasons, we too cross thresholds that change us. Each one carries its own wisdom and marks the beginning of something new.

While there is no single path through womanhood because our unique seasons unfold differently, no path was meant to be walked alone. This is the return of the ancient ways.

Join the Village

Our vision for a Women's Centre

In 2026, we opened the doors to The Goddess Temple Brisbane, a small sanctuary created for women to gather, connect and remember.

What began within those walls revealed something much bigger.

Our vision is now to create a permanent Women's Centre: a place for girls and women across generations, bringing together rites of passage, education, community, practitioners, mothers and babies, creativity, ceremony and the sharing of women's wisdom.

The Goddess Temple Brisbane was a beginning.
Now, we are dreaming of the village.
